Tonight in good ole' Lock Haven fireworks began around 10pm. I'm not sure why but it was a pleasant surprise. We took some pics while sitting on our backporch (how cool is that?) and I have to say that I am very pleased with my camera. It's a
Kodak Easy Share and it has a really nifty feature for taking pics of fireworks. Above is a pic with the camera on the fireworks setting.
This is a pic with just the auto setting with no flash.

I think this one is my favorite.
The only problem with the fireworks setting is there is about a second and a half delay from when you press the button to when the camera actually snaps the pic. After figuring that out, we were good to go.

These pics are terrific. I should have taken some pics at our display downtown--it was quite the sight.
